friends with big feet
I'd been working on the April/May Six Sox KAL pattern when my friend saw the sock I'd started and just loved it. I was playing around with Fortissima Cotton sock yarn in a not even pretty color but she really liked the feel of the yarn and the simple pattern. Now trackback to a month ago when said friend bought some interesting colored Socks That Rock yarn and asked me to make socks for her. Of course I agreed. I absolutely adore this particular friend and would make her socks without being asked. Note to self: make socks without being asked next time. Here's the rub...this is the old STR with only 325 yards of yarn and my friend wears a size 10 shoe! I've never made toe up socks but I'm thinking that's what I'm going to have to do with these. I'm not even sure this is enough yarn to get me to an ankle sock. Arghh

Your blog looks great. Nice job! I'm surprised at the STR yarn. I see it all over and people only have one skein. I guess the size has changed? Good luck with the toe-up. I want to try that too -- for the same reason. :)
Welcome to the 6Sox group. I think that you'll enjoy the may different sock patterns. Good luck with Sixth Sense.
