I can't believe I love this yarn

I love this yarn! This was the first yarn I dyed. I used 100% wool from a brand called "Sensations" that is exclusive to Joann Fabrics. It is a tightly plied worsted weight that is so soft it's hard to believe how cheap it is. When I decided I wanted to dye wool I did a lot of looking around on the internet to find out how to do it. I swore I wouldn't make yarn that looked like an Easter basket blew up. And then I dyed this yarn with Kool-Aid and I got yarn that looks like an Easter basket blew up and I LOVE IT!

My goal was to make yarn similar to a Manos colorway to recreate this scarf. It's called "My So Called Scarf" and it is a really fun knit. Look, here's a close up and ashot of what I've knit so far hanging out on my lovely green oregano bush.
