Well, here is all of the 50/50 Angora/Merino that I dyed for the angora lady to sell at Oregon Flock and Fiber this weekend. She loves how they turned out. So here's the skinny on dyeing angora -- Not like dyeing wool! I really wanted to just throw it! Even though the angora lady loves them, I was not entirely pleased with how some of them dyed. Wool wicks better and more evenly in the method that I like to use. The angora really needs to sit still dunked in the dye in order to dye evenly. I think I might try kettle dyeing it to see if I like that better.
