I'm a bad pal

Look at this yummy yarn I got from my Dyeorama pal, Jaya! Peppermint Patty hand dyed goodness and a Sockotta colorway that I hadn't seen before that includes my two favorite colors, green and red. I've had my gifts for about 5 days now without thanking her! Isn't that just terrible! I've been busy, yeah, but that is just no excuse. So THANK YOU JAYA for the fun Peppermint Patty to add to my list of things to knit. I'm thinking this here merino softness needs to be a couple pairs of footies since I keep running out. And since I wear green 50% of the time and I really like brown if I make footies I can make two pair and then I get to look at that gorgeous yarn twice as often! You really do need to go over to Jaya's blog and take a look at the other colors she dyed. The girl definitely has an eye for uniqueness. The colors she created -- on her first attempt -- are really inspiring. In fact the one she sent to me is extremely conservative in comparison to the others she's dyed. They are very creative and look like they would be difficult to recreate. Great job, Jaya, on the dyeing. I hope you do more of it (when the migraine and the schoolwork subside).

I'm glad you got the yarn and you like it. I had a lot of fun dyeing it up.

As for reproducibility, I actually have most of the color values written down. The only one that might be a bit questionable is the light green in the skein I sent you, since I sort of watered it down until I liked the color I had.

Enjoy and use it in good health!
