I finished my friend, Mia's socks and got Daughter the Eldest to model them for me.
Sock stats:
Pattern: Simply Lovely Lace socks from Spring 2006 Interweave Knits
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Baby Casmerino - 2 skeins with about 4 inches left over (Yikes)
Needles: Size 4 Addi Turbos
These socks knit up pretty fast, especially with the heavier yarn and larger gauge. They just took me so long because I got bored with them and put them down for a few weeks. I loved working with the Cashmerino - so soft - only drawback is that it's already pilling and the socks haven't even been worn in shoes yet. I know she'll love them anyway 1) because they're purple and 2) because they're so dang soft and 3) because she loves me. heeheehee

You asked if crocheted things count for my UFO contest....Yes they do... it's knit and crochet... wow an 18 yr old ufo, how much of it is left? Oh and i love those sox!
Beautiful FO! I might have to give the small gauge version of that pattern a try. Hmmmm... I wonder if I have any sock yarn around the house. LOL!
