What's that in the box?

Maybe Blogger will finally let me post these glorious pictures of my fun KSKS package from the lovely Kate over at Minestrone Soup.

Here's how it looked when one of the kids delivered it to me from the mailbox.

Inside was another wrapped box. Okay this is getting suspenseful.

Another box?

Aha! Loot!

Inside? A very colorful handmade (very nicely made, I might add) tote bag complete with nice short handles and fun beads all around the top edge. Go check out these bags on Kate's blog. She's planning to sell them if I'm reading that correctly.

Also inside? One of those file folder things that you put papers in - you know, a report folder from when you were in school - filled with pages of how to do the Turkish Cast on tutorial and a toe-up sock pattern that I, obviously since I've never done toe-up, haven't tried yet. There was also a lovely skein of Opal in a colorway perfect for me. Mostly green with some dark blue and red and bits of yellow and white too. I may try to toe-up with it and just keep it plain so I can watch the pattern emerge...haven't decided yet. I do want to try the toe-up thing soon.

You thought that was all? Here's some more stuff: A nice little journal the perfect small size for carrying around in a purse, one of those cool pencil holder thingyswith some colorful mini-sharpies and a pencil and a pen, J-shaped notes (sticky notes?), a Bawston postcard (cute), and some yummy swedish fish.

Thanks, Kate. It made me smile to receive such a thoughtful gift. Sorry it took me so long to get these pics up what with all the Blogger vacations and Flickr massages.
