July 12th and raining?

It's raining! Not that that is such a strange thing but it hasn't rained on July 12th in my city (Salem, Oregon) since 1892! First rain here on July 12th in 114 years. This is definitely noteworthy and I would bet money it will make the front page of our newspaper tomorrow morning.
