yummy
Check out this gorgeous stuff! I joined Scout's Dyeorama swap so I got out some undyed sock yarn that I'd gotten a while back. It's from Woodland Woolworks and is 75% wool and 25% nylon in a really thin fingering weight. I can't believe how soft it feels both before and after dyeing. This was my first yarn dyeing experience and it went really easy and turned out just like I'd planned. I guess those several hundred yards or cotton fabric dyeing have paid off. I'm looking forward to buying some more yarn to use to continue the olfactory torture of my family. Here's what I did (the nutshell version): I just tied it in four places with acrylic yarn (so I could find it later) and painted on four colors of koolaid. They are Black Cherry, Cherry, Strawberry and Kiwi-Strawberry. Right now it's still finishing it's drying time and then I'll wind it up into a ball and get a swatch knitted up. Waiting for it to dry is sure hard.

Very Yummy Jen!
You used the exact same colors as I did in my varigated skein. Instead of a warping board I make a REALLY long loop of yarn, tie it off, and dye it on the stove in sections. I seem to get the better saturation on the stove. Eunny has my favorite tutorial. I believe it is linked on the Dye-o-Rama blog.
